This evening, a little boy at Kids Connection (our church's Tuesday night children's ministry-- Christiana, Mike and I go) prayed:
"Dear Lord, I wish that my cousin wins his game. Amen."
As adorable and endearing as that was, I better not still be talking to God this way after having known Him this long. (This is the same little boy who, when asked, "How did God make you unique?" responded: "God made me... cute. People like me, when they see me." :))
Lord, help me.
I want to love You
for You.
